I just seen a 97 xplorer light pod on eBay it shows that the light all the way to right is oil light..is it possible that my 98 is also...and maybe its lit because I omitted my injection pump..but it seems kind of strange that it just came on yesterday..as I have been running it for last 10 days or so..and it dims when I rev engine???????

97 is the same as a 98. Pull the pod cover and check the wiring colors. If the light that stays on is the low oil light it should have a purple/black wire with a common brown ground wire for all of the indicators. Just look at the schematic diagram of the manual that I gave you a link to. If it is indeed the low oil light and it's on constantly, just pull either the purple/black wire(tape it up) or the brown wire and do away with the light since you premix.
