So I unplugged a black wire not sure what it is to it but the four wheeler now runs and shuts of with the cdi box connected

 

Probably pulled the black reverse limiter wire. Just trace it back to see if that was it. If it was the limiter, just leave it unplugged. You can do without it. You'll have full power in reverse without having to hold the over ride button.
