Got her all put back together! Started right up and runs great!!!! I still have to replace both coils for the front hubs but can do that later. (previous owner left em dry as dust!) Had the yr old Polaris Batt on a trickle charger while I rebuilt the bike. Worked great. Tried to start it a couple days later and nothing but a click. Think that new battery is any good? Do I have a draw somewhere that is draining it?

Simple load test on the battery can tell if it has an open cell and can't hold the charge from the regulator. Take it to any auto store, wally world, etc. If bad just get a new one. Load testers are cheap now, good tool to have around for multiple vehicles.6 Volt/12 Volt Battery Load Tester
