Pull the front panel,trace the wiring from the ignition switch as it ties into the main harness. Same for the left hand control switch. If you turned the bars and it shut off, possible you have a short in this area causing all the problems. Under the steering post area is where all the twisting,turning and stress on wiring and connectors happen where they tie into the main harness.

hooray we did it! it was a not properly grounded solenoid and than when we rewired the new one at first it also wasnt grounded. had to clean off the battery case and tighted everything up! now the fun part, trying to fix brakes that have been locked up for years!
