You and me both I was looking all over for that ecm. That's what I get for taking the old man's word for what year it was. He bought it in Dec of 2008. Told me I should have known. Lol

I think they have a ECM after 2004 up to this day. The bad China junk ones were from 2004-2006 I think. The new improved ECMs were still a throw of the dice.

The 500 Ho had the ecm modules up until the 2008 models. 2009 to 2013 (last year for the 500) they went back to a regulator rectifier which they should have had in the first place.

And yes this did fix this just so anyone that finds this post later knows the regulator will cause the engine to die just after startup and if you unplug the 3 yellow wires or the black and red wire on the regulator it was run fine just not charge.
