Default 04 sportsman 700 hub question

How do you get the wheel hub apart from the bearing carrier to change the wheel bearings. Not sure if it is an 04 or 05

Have to remove the caliper on the brake side to get that hub off. Left side simply pull the wheel, remove the axle nut and tap on the shaft end with a dead blow hammer or block of wood to help free the hub from the shaft and hub strut housing.

I cannot get the hub to separate from the bearing carrier it like they are stuck together trying to change out the bearings.

On stuck ones like this I've used heat on the carrier body and a dull flat bit in my air impact. Have to be careful that you don't crack the hub. Just zap it all around with the impact and the hub should come out.
