15 volts back to the battery? If so that is a little high if your meter is correct. That usually involves the high dollar command module. Item #11. Before you throw parts at it get this cheap manual and go through the electrical charging checks.2007 Polaris Sportsman 500 EFI Service Manual PDF Download

Picked up my machine. The dealer said he doesn't know what is wrong with it. Suggested a whole new wiring harness!!!!!! I am going to go to another dealer next week. He said he had a lot of time in it but only charged me $100 since he didn't fix it.

Very lucky to get away from these folks for 100 bucks +parts they threw at it. Find a good reputable shop and they should be able to find the problem.

Got it home ran it for 1/2 mile around the yard Friday night started and stop fine. Ran it another 1/2 mile on Saturday started and ran fine. Runs like it was brand new and he didn't replace any parts other than clean the throttle body and new battery.

I have no clue whats up with this machine. Going to put the plow on it tonight and see what happens. Ill keep you posted

Hope that's all there was to it,but if it acts up again I'd head to tbap/tps wiring as one of the symptoms is that they can run ok for awhile and suddenly start running erratic.
