Hi opt got a tire question. The tires on my 07 500 is 26x8x12 and 26x11x12. Is there any other sizes I can run on the wheeler. I am having trouble finding new tires for it for the money I want to spend.

I don't wash dishes,clean windows or do tires.I had others on tire detail at the shop Others memebers can steer you on sizes and what brands to go with.

What type of riding do you do? What's your price range? Are you having and rubbing issues with those size tires? Do you want to stay with the 26in. tires or go stock size 25in.? Do you want bias ply tires or radial?

 

Stock tires are 25 inch? I want diggers the tires that are on it now are 26x8x12 and 26x11x12. Can I go to 25x8x12 and 25x11x12? When I type in 07 sportsman 500 tires into Google it says stock are 26's. If I can run 25's I have tires I can put on. No rubbing issues. I just bought the wheeler and the tires don't have alot of tread.

 

If you want to stick with the 26in. tires, do a search for 26x8x12 and 26x10x12. The 26x10x12 is more common for a rear tire.

 

Okay can I run 25? They are cheaper tires. What do I lose by going to 25's?

 

My '08 has 26" tires stock. You can go down to a 25" as they were stock some years. You'll lose 1/2" of ground clearance and about 4% off your top end speed.

 

My apologies for giving you incorrect information, yes the stock size is 26, however you can run 25. Like Jumbofrank stated.... You will loose some ground clearance and top end speed with the 25s.
