Yea that makes sense with the air box. As far as the hole I found a good epoxy I think is going to work. But I I have one more concern with the carb. The Inside of the housing was corroded with lots of white stuff. I've never had a carb apart before so I don't know if this is normal for an old part but in my mind Im thinking that stuff could flake off and clog jets. Maybe I could try and sand it or something but it's pretty dang bad. Ill post a pic later and let you guys check it out. Y'all have been awesome with helping and answering my questions I am grateful. Just look at these videos to give you an idea on what's involved. Not that hard.
