My wife's 325 trailboss is steering weriod follows ruts when I tried the string line up that's described in the manual the back wheels seem to ne twisted ???

 

Easier to use a straight edge rather than the old string and chalk method. We had one guy hold the bars straight,one guy held the metal stud against the tires and adjusted tie rods to where you had 1/8"-1/4" toe out. Jack up the front and and check for any excessive play in tie rod ends. Twisted rear tires? Jack the rear end up and check for any axle damage. Here's one guy's method of doing this.

 

The back end is turned is there any adjustment for it

 

The rear axle housing takes care of axle alignment and chain adjustment. Jack it up at the rear of the gear case and check for any side to side play on the swing arm bushings. If this is tight,the problem still could be the axle itself.
