Hi have a 2015 Polaris RZR 900s. I rode it all day with no problems, started back up every time. I took it out at night and noticed that the lights were turning yellow as i was driving. I shut it off and then it would not start up again. The battery was completely dead. I jumped it and it started right away but the lights were yellow immediately. It stalled and then I jumped it again to start it but it only runs for 10 minutes then it dies. Since this happens, I have to jump it for it to start. I am looking for advice on what could be causing this. Thanks for your help.

 

Charge the battery over night and load test it first. If it passes the load test check the charging at the battery while at an idle. If it just shows battery voltage(not 14-14.5 volts) then the regulator or sometimes the stator itself can be at fault. Rather than guessing at parts a cheap 5 buck manual can show the charging system tests and rule out the stator.
