stator plate swap

Default stator plate swap
i have a 2005 sportsman 400 that im putting a 500 Ho in out of a 2001 scrambler, can i use the stator plate, stator and flywheel from the 400 on the 500 motor? or will the timing be off?

It would mount up,but as far as running ok,don't know. Both have different stators and cdi modules.
