Polaris Predator 500

Hey guys I just got a 2005 Polaris predator 500. I already have a k&n air filter and a fmf exhaust powercore 4 and it's pretty loud. I assume it's jetted also due to the aftermarket pipe and air filter but other than that it should be all stock. What else can I add to the predator to make it faster and louder? Are there any new mods I can add since the old post asked the same question on here but it was a couple of years ago? Thanks let me know

First thing is to get a manual that can help answer a lot of questions.2005 Polaris Predator 500 Service Manual PDF Download This place has been around awhile and has a good selection of performance parts.Aaen Performance : Polaris Predator P.S. making one faster is quite ok,but louder isn't..Too many riding areas have been shut down for this reason.Look at some of Aaen's exhausts along with other mods that can help on power but still keep the decibels down to a respectable level.

When you go down that road it seems to be a never ending one for some people. If you're looking for more top end,a simple sprocket change can help in that area a little.High compression pistons can help,2 to 3 hp over stock, same for a 550 big bore kit,5 hp over advertised stock, but to really get power out of one you'll have to go for a porting job, higher lift cams, etc to really make use of that bottom end build up. Can get expensive to get that hp, often times not just the initial cost outlay but at the cost of reliability also.Plus a great deal depends on how deep your pockets are.
