Glad you got it straightened out. For one reason or another brown/white was powered up when most of the other models it was ground.Like to the hub coils. Brown/white was ground,gray was the power wire. Looks like they changed when they went to the centralized awd system with the coil plate.

In fixing that I found that where the strut mounts to that cross member it is badly damnagaed. Do you know where I can find that cross member part number so I can order a new one?

If you're talking about the front strut mount section,it's part of the frame itself. Can't get it separately.
