06 sportsman awd engages when in 2wd

And If I do run in to issues is it possible to get the output shafts machined? Quite an expensive fix if thats the case.

Just check the bearings for wear,if sloppy,replace them. Output shafts just check the splines.Unless the machines's been ragged out these will normally be ok.
