Default Polaris explorer300 drive tran

The sprocket on rear axle holding chain and sprocket together the (3 studed) piece snapped one of those studs off causing annother stud that also snapped off which in turn fell down on axle and not going in gear ,to chain hanging out of place no lined up sloppyside to side .So I removed the spocket and guides and chain thinking I can still drive it home slowly while if only in 4x4 mode. BUT IT DID NOT GO IN DRVE GEAR .ACTING SAME WAY AS B4I I TOOK OFF BROKEN PARTS. What DO I NEED TO DO TO DRIVE IT HOME TO MAKE IT DRIVE ON FRONT CHAIN??? PLZ.HELP THANKS Is that even possible?

If you can't get it into gear you may have internal gear case damage also. You can disconnect the H/N/R linkage rod at the gear case and see if you can use vice grips to manually get it in to gear. If you can't then simpler at this point to have some one pull you out. In your garage or shop you'll have plenty of time to inspect damage and what needs to be repaired/replaced.
