I have a 2011 Polaris Rzr 800 HO that I purchased. I didn't really notice at the time of purchase but now I can distinguish a tick/tapping in the motor. Sounds like something in the camshaft cover or maybe it could be the primary. Its mild at idle and stays with the rpm as you rev it. I've been doing research on it online and have found its pretty common but seems like fixes are all over the board. The unit still runs and drives without a problem, doesn't seem to be lacking power or anything. Just wondering if you guys have any ideas on what it could be or whether or not I should worry about it? Already tried changing the oil and filter with no improvements. Any input would be great!
