Default Sport 400 clutches

I have 2 sets of clutches laying around from my 97 400L sport I'm trying to sell but I don't know any other info on them. A lot of people asking f they will fit this or that and I have no idea. Any help in what they fit and or list of what they fit. ? Measurements maybe? Thanks

You can look them up here and check the usage to see what other models use them. They'll fit a lot of different models but may need different weights. http://parts.polarisind.com/Browse/Browse.asp

Those clutches will fit a lot more machines than "Browse polaris" will ever show. Polaris had a lot of part number substitutions over the years but the clutches are very similar. Like Frank said, spring and weights will need to be changed for the model they are going on. I can gaurantee those clutches will fit a lot of machines and some rangers even, and work fine. Pretty much all of the 2 stroke polaris and a lot of the single cylinder non EBS machines they can work on. Not sure what all years they fit but up to 08 they should work. My memory tells me they could fit some later but not positive how late model they will work on. I've done it for people in the past. The only problem is making the buyer confident it will work on their machine. What do you want for them just out of curiosity? And can we see pics?

Yep. I took a look to see usage on a drive clutch for a non-EBS Sportsman 500 H.O. I used to have. It fits some Sportsman, Scrambler, Magnum, Xplorer, Trail Boss, Big Boss 6x6, Ranger and Ranger 6x6 models from 325-500cc. There's a similar list for the 2-stroke Trailblazer I had. The same clutch was used on some Sportsman, Trailblazer, Trail Boss, Sport 400L, and Xplorer models from 250-400cc. Switch the spring and weights and they'll will fit a lot more that aren't listed.

Polaris used to keep things simple, like when they used one battery on most of their adult ATVs for years and years. If they can use one part for a lot of models it makes everything easier from the manufacture to shipping and stocking up warehouses, etc.
