hello; I need some help. like I stated my left front wheel on my 1996 Polaris sportsman 500 will not pull in Awd.
when the AWD switch is pressed the "AWD" lights up and my right front wheel works fine.
I had taken the hub apart several times and was wondering how you know if the hub coil is going bad.
the armature plate is fairly easy to move around and to pull off the magnetic coil.
I was wondering if the mag coil gradually will go bad or just not work at all.
I am getting about 12 volts down to the hub coil wires.
I am thinking I might buy a new coil and a new armature plate. if this does nit work I will be lost.
any information on this and how this system actually works would be wonderful,, thanks
