Default Lateral Movement of Front tires

I have a 2008 polaris sportsman 500 2X . With the front end jacked up, holding tire at 12 and 6 position I get very little movement on the front tires. However, when I hold tire at 9 and 3 position I get more movement. Not sure what parts need to be replaced.

Probably track rod ends, not sure if your machine has power steering, if so they always have a little play, part of the way they work. Take the wheels off and wiggle the stub axles, you should be able to see where the play is, outer track rod ends, inner track rod ends or the steering column itself.
