Hi
I replaced cam, coil, EI. Gen, all electric parts, except for Rev limiter, but I just was given a used one.
ATV, ran good when bought, (used)
then started to back fire, then stopped running
replaced worn-out cam, work again.
But no top end (backfire) then hard to start.
decompression ball came out, just replaced cam again
yesterday. and electric parts except for rev limited, starts like new.
still back fires, except when air box is removed,
Rev's up much better.
rebuild carb, still the same, bought new carb still the same, every time I connected the air box air tube to the carb, it's like choking the engine.
Going out to shop to replace the rev limiter
any advice ????
