Your thoughts on the RZR
#1
I am new to quads, ATV's and to Rhino's and at this point think I am going to buy a Rhino or an RZR... I have tried top of the line quads in the rough AZ mtn. Trails and was amazed how much easier it was to run a Rhino over the same trails and I would assume that would be true with the RZR... I like the idea of bringing a passenger and the side by side makes the most sense to me... Your thoughts... Are you really happy with the RZR??? Does it ride as well or similar to the Rhino? How about reliability? I have had really great experiences with Yamaha --- Dirt bikes and golf carts...
Thanks ...
Thanks ...

the RZR is alot faster than the rhino. the stock suspension is very stiff. but i solved this problem by disconnecting the sway bars. it articulates WAAYYYYY better. u lose a little high speed stability when u do this but for trail riding it is way better.

I just signed the papers on my Green Razor today from Rye AZ just south of Payson - they have one or two more that aren't spoken for - their number is 928-474-3411 ask for Tanner or Don - I'm picking mine up next Saturday and did everything by phone and fax - great price too compared to everybody else and I was number 31 on the list in Prescott - make sure they know that you heard this from Rifle in Chino if you call - where are you at by the way

I got mine on friday and finally put 20 miles on her today!
WOW is the best description I can offer at the moment.
On the straights I blew off a Grizzly 650 with plenty to spare. On the trails he has it over me but not by much and may be just because I am not a speed demon.
Me the wife and our Brittany puppy had a ball tooling around and enjoying a great day.
I do scrape bottom in the rocky spots but not too bad and a good inspection shows the OEM skid plate did its job.
Throttle is a bit finicky at first and takes some getting used to.
It went everywhere I pointed it and did it all with great ease and my shoulder is perfectly fine now after a hard ride and no handle bars!
A little tweeking and some serious thought about what accessories will do the most good is all that is in order now.
Here in the NY mountains this machine is awesome but I can also see where it will be very desireable on groomed trails or in desert areas. I can say for sure I could go faster on these trails with my Sportsman 500 and by myself but the RZR did perfectly fine with the two of us and we just had to pick our path a bit wiser so as not to break stuff on the under side.
Keep in mind I am riding on 100 year old wood roads strewn with rocks, branches and stumps and rarely get a chance to get much over 20 MPH even on the very best trail machines.
On a trail system such as the Hatfield/McCoy in WV this will be a complete blast and is absolutely perfect for us older and more reserved riders even when we don't feel all that reserved. It does seem to feel much smoother the faster I went yet thats pretty hard to do here on our trails. I can't imagine ever needing more power or even useing the power this thing has.
This is deffinately the best $11K I have ever spent on a toy!
