I know they are narrow enough, but I thought for the trails you have to be under 900 lbs. Anybody know where the rzr falls on the atv/atv2 thing.

Thanks, Chopper

No answers here but I think the rules are completely rediculous!

We were out today here in NY and my buddies Grizzly with big wheel kit is wider then our RZRs.

They go anywhere his will go and do it with ease.

Don't think I will ever understand all the BS rules as long as the Max width is met on the trails and for obvious reasons.

Yeah! I'm sure Polaris made it 50 inches, so it would comply with the width rules. I just wish they would have made it 50 lbs lighter. I would have bought one already.

I doubt the weight is much of problem and would not let that hold me back at all.

Those who make all these rediculous rules will always find some reason to stop us from enjoying the lands we pay for with our tax dollars.

Facts are facts and 99% of all state and government owned lands are only ever seen by less then 2% of the population!
As far as I am concerned, if they won't allow us to enjoy it then whats sense does it make to keep billions of acres hidden from us and at our expense?
I have no problems with rules but when the rules are designed to keep 99% of the population OUT then something needs to be said and very loud!

Not only is the land purchased with our tax dollars but the very people employed to keep us out are also paid with my money as are those who make these silly rules!

Well said Gamalot.
Ours is a government of the people, by the government, and for the government.

Actually, Our government is one where the voices of a few are heard much louder because they speak in the right circles and it costs big bucks to get there!

If we all came together on one mission, we could be heard.

It is however unlikely because few of us would agree it was a nice day today at 86, sunny and humid! The will has not yet brought us all together!

If there is any body from MN that would like to know!!!! I just found out from the dnr website that ATV 2s are legal on almost every state trail. I'm going to sell either my 05 700, or my 04 500, whatever sells first.

Now there is something that makes sense! You get twice as many riders having fun at not much additional wear and tear on the trails.

Now if only some of the NY politicals could catch this dreaded disease we might have a shot at a few of the MILLIONS of acres we pay our outrageous tax dollars to maintain!

Law Suit shy is what they worry about but I would be one of the first to agree if you get hurt while on any STATE OWNED land then you are on your own!

The tree huggers are the other big issue and they all want to keep all the forests untouched. Makes very little sense to me when more than 97% of the Tax paying population only ever get to see less than 3% of the MILLIONS of acres being protected. Most polititians never get far enough away from their Limos to even appreciate what they are so adamant about protecting!
