Dont feel alone i had major problems with my polaris Ranger EFI 700 right off the bat. The fromt end would not disingage from fourwheel drive. The dealer tryed to tell me all i needed to do was put it in 2 wheel drive and back up and the problem would be fixed. I had a problem with spending 15 grand on somthing i had to put in reverse to disingage. I stood strong. they finally looked into it and found a PLASTIC part in thre front end that was broken. Next at 20 hrs the drive belt burnt im still trying to figure out how the drive belt fails sitting in the garage. The last time prier to the belt burning the polaris ran fine I parked it for 3 weeks the next time i started it the belt slipped so bad it would not move. I'm not impressed with the rangers.

Hey dirt dog, in response to your belt problem, Have you checked the front motor mount, some of them were bad in the 06' models and would throw the belt out of alignment.

zitterich246, Thanks for the input. When I get some time I'll check it out. You would think somthing would cause the belt to fail.
