Default Anyone 6' or taller in RZR?

I'm 6'4" and currently have a KQ 700 ATV. Looking seriously at the '08 RZR, and wanted to know if a tall guy can enjoy the ride. Any thoughts........ ?

Thanks

I am also in the same boat, I am 6'3" and 220 lbs, I have seen some guys my size say it fits fine, an dothers say they were cramped. Looking for more opinions.

Maybe Polaris will add some room for the tall driver in the '09 models. The way the RZR is designed, will not allow any modification for moving the seat back.

Also, with the RZR being so popular and hard to get, the other manufacturers should be coming out with like kind in the near future.

Please post if you hear of any other options. Thanks.

Well guys I am 6'2" & 290 lbs & I have no problems at all, now my left knee "hangs" out the side a bit for more comfort but it is very comfortable. Was just out all day on it today it is very enjoyable to ride all day, more so than my old 800 SP.

I am 6'3" and weigh about 215lbs and I fit fine in a friends for a day of riding. We are both about the same size and never even bumped shoulders. As with the prior post about the left knee hanging on the side my right knee was that way. I was very surprised at how comfortable the ride was even with the two of us in it. If I had the money I would buy one in a heart beat.

I am 6'2" and have no issues at all. Four screws give you about 8" of adjustment for both seats.

Here at the 2nd annual UTVJAM in Marysvale, UT 1st place in the drags went to a RZR that only had 50 miles on it. It beat out a new CanAm that ended up in second place. Had the race been longer the CanAm would have caught and passed the little RZR. The RZR 4 is not near as quick as a RZR. It all depends on where and what kind of trails you like to ride but a lot of the trails here in Utah are gated at 50".

I don't know how you bigger folks get in and out of those RZRs, probably one of my bigger dislikes about them besides the lack of engine braking.

And why didn't Polaris put a clock in the instrument cluster?

Here's a video of one of the new CanAms that participated in the UTVJAM.

Congrats on your new XT.

The video would be more impressive if they were comparing the regular RZR 2 seater with the 2 seater Commander 800. It's no surprise to me that a CanAm 1000 would beat the RZR 800. If it was the regualr RZR against a Commander 800 with the same result I'd be impressed.

I've only sat in the RZR and RZRs. I'm 6'3" and 360 (losing weight a little at a time) and didn't find it cramped. I was VERY surprised. I've talked to a lot of RZR owners up here in the New England area and they've all loved them.

They're not cramped at all once inside, actually pretty comfy. I just find then awkward to get into and out of, but that's just me.
