Default Ranger Hot Seat

Ranger seat gets hot after 15 minutes of operation; after about an hour it is too hot to sit on.

This is happening under normal operating conditions. If anyone has experienced this and knows how to correct it, please let me know. It could get really warm come summer time!

I'm picking up my 2008 Ranger XP next week. Please let me know how this insulation works for you.

Most folks have had the best luck cutting a hole in the front of the engine compartment down close to the floor and mounting a 12 volt 120 mm long life computer case cooling fan. They turn the fan so it blows cool air into the engine compartment. Some have had good luck rerouting the radiator hoses so they aren't close to the seat.
