Yes, it worth every nickel they're charging and then some. In fact, I don't see how they are making money on it, unless they plan to build and sell thousands of them.
FoxShocks kit $2,000.00
Suspension Kit $3500.00
BigHorn Wheels & Tires $700.00
RollCage $700.00
800EFI High Output engine $ ???
Having all this installed by Polaris with NO warranty issues for installation and usage- PRICELESS
Low finance rate and payment thru Polaris- PRICELESS.
No scrimping and saving for add ons while paying for machine-PRICELESS
IMHO All you need to add is a winch, airbox snorkel, and skid plates. And gas.
And I believe they will sell all they can build at MSRP. And people will happily pay it.

That S package is work every penny and more!
I've got a bud wth a regular RZR and he's checked into Long Travel - He told me he's looking at $6,000. He has purchased the tires and rims and I'm sure he dropped at least $700 on those.
The S package will be loved by the duners out there. I expect to see a few people selling thier RZR's to get a RZR-S.
$3,000 for the S package is a no brainer IMO.

Yes the Rzr S package is worth every penny they are charging for it. Check the prices for adding long travel on a non-S version Rzr. I know that on my Rhino the suspension is worth far more than Polaris is charging for the Rzr S package. The Elka Elite shocks I have are arguably better than the Fox shocks on the Rzr S, and they do provide 15" of suspension travel instead of the 12" of suspension travel that the Rzr S has. But the Elka shocks alone on my Rhino cost $4500. Then add to that price the cost of the Lonestar a-arms, frame gussets, and steering parts. Then add another $1600 for the Gorilla axles on my Rhino. Lets just put it this way, you could buy an entire Rzr S for what most long travel Rhino's have invested in them just with the cost of their aftermarket parts.
Polaris hit the ball out of the park with the new Rzr S. And Polaris also did major improvements to their Ranger side by side, for those people that are more interested in the utility aspect of side by sides. Its good to see american companies like Polaris and Arctic Cat doing well in the side by side market. In just a few short years Yamaha has gone from having what was once the highest performing side by side, to having the side by side with the worst performance of them all. All Yamaha did this year is add "bold new graphics", which is essentially what Kawasaki did as well. At least Yamaha is still ahead of Honda, because Honda has yet to even release their farm implement inspired Big Red.

I got my RZR-S at Montclair Yamaha. they said that they are getting about 25 more RZR-S in With in this week. I MSRP price on the RZR-S is 14,000. it all depends on the sales person and the Sales manager on what kind of price they can give you. I got mine for 15,500 OTD. The guy I workied with was Steve, he has all kinds of tatoos, he was a good guy and was able to make a good sale. Tell him Chris Avila; the first one to buy the RZR-S last week, sent you. he will hook u up with a good price.
