Default Ball joint (broken off) removal

I fell in a hole at about 25 mph and trashed the lower a-arm and ball joint. The stem of the ball joint is broken off flush with nothing to get ahold of to pull it from the strut housing. If the strut housing were not aluminum, I would weld a nut or stud on the remaining piece to pull it out, but I am afraid of all that heat on the aluminum...could cause a real mess. What the heck do I do now?

I did the same thing. Best thing I can tell ya is order a new A-Arm, and ball joint. They are not sold together. Take them to the local Polaris shop and pay the 1/2 hour service bill. Much Much easier. A couple of bucks = NO STRESS
