I have yet to read a topic in this section on the EV. I went to the dealer a couple weeks ago to look at one and can't seem to get it off my mind!
Please give me all comments opinions, impressions, and hands on experience if you can.
I don't know much about the side-by-side models but like the EV and 500EFI new mid size.

I have enjoyed having the EV for use in the campground I say at. I can pull my Jet-Ski to the boat ramp and get around the campground with no problems. There is a lot of step hills in our campground and the boat ramp is steeper tan most are. I only have to recharge it about ever 4th or 5th day of use.

I am just now to 20 hours on mine. The book says to recharge at 80% on meter. Most of the time I charge it over night before 80 due to using it to pull the jet-ski around. I went 3.6 hours on the last charge. That was with about 80% towing jet-ski. Many have said it takes about 20 charge cycles to get the most out of these batteries.
We have some wooded trails here at the lake. And due to the storms there has been a lot of trees fallen. I found it was very easy to crawl over them than with my Polaris 850XP. With the direct drive and not having to rev the motor for the clutch to engage, It pulls up and over very easily. Most were almost large enough to catch the skid pan while going over. I had to learn how to watch more due to the roll cage and the extra width of the EV over riding an ATV. The tire have really surprised too. They have done good pulling through some mud, not a swamp buggy mud hole, good old NC red clay. I have rarely put the unit into 4 wheel drive. I only locked the rear diff a few times, but that was while backing up hill on gravel. I think the weight difference is about 700 lbs. but I think the electric motor has way more torque than the gas motor for slow pulling power.
