I took my ranger to my uncle's farm, and we went to the biggest mud pit we could find. I have to admit I was very impressed with how the ranger handled it. I had a few other guys there with quads in case I didn't make it. I would have never tried this on my own, since I don't have a winch yet.

Also, note that my ranger is completely showroom stock, nothing added on at all. These things can handle mud like the best of them.

Wow, pretty good for a big machine. Saw lots of Rangers up in Northern, Maine, in the Jackman area this past week.

Did anyone else cringe as he went to find a gear at high revs??

I would have one of these tomorrow if I could justify it.

I cringe myself when I hear that. I had shifted from R and it was inbetween High and Low, so it revved up. Then I went to shift it to Low, but didn't wait for it to rev down. I guess I was too excited/nervous about getting it out of the hole.
