Condition,condition.. This means everything. You can generally check just by looking at the over condition of the machine whether it's been worked to death or not. Plus any maintenance records the owner has or willing to show.As with anything used you can either get a bargain or could be inheriting another persons nightmare.

Default Ranger Crew

We looked and looked and everyone wanted 18k for a decent used Polaris Crew. The ones we saw that were less were in bad shape or looked as if they hadn't been cared for. Many on CL the owner's seemed sketchy or they looked nothing like the pictures.
We ended up getting a new 1000 crew. It was cheaper LOL Super low interest and they gave us cash back.
If you own a farm (or someone in your family does) you can avoid sales tax as well.
It's what we did.
I beat the crap out of it. Had to get towed back from Leota trails on Xmas day broke the frame on a huge rock.
They cover everything, always.
It's very nice.

18K should be enough to buy a new Ranger, not a used one. I guess in some areas, people literally think their stuff is made of gold. You see it a lot with used machines, people will think they're worth more than they are. A local dealer to me is selling Teryx4s for 13K brand new and that includes a free 3 year warranty with the option of paying to extend it up to 7 years if you want. I know its a bit of apples to oranges but they shouldn't be that much more expensive.
