got an 03 polaris ranger 500 with carb and electric fuel pump as it is a commercial edition and was wondering if anyone knows where the exhaust control valve hose goes to. this machine idles erratic and everything else is in line spec wise. and when i connect the vent tube for the carb to the solenoid it seems to run perfectly but i wanna make sure if it is where it goes. there is nothing in the manual about it or online anywhere. thanks.

 

Is this "exhaust control valve" an exhaust gas recirculation system? If so there will be a small vac pipe from the valve to the carb, near the butterfly, and a bigger one to the inlet manifold.
