Default New ATP Gas cap/Gauge

I noticed in a magazine article about the new ATP 330 and 500 that they come with a gas cap that has a built in gas gauge in it. I was just wondering if it would fit a 600 or 700 or any other Polaris quad.
That is a good idea, I like the idea of being able to look down and see how much gas is in the tank.
Anyone know?

Polaris sells them for other models. Visit their website at www.polarisindustries.com. Your dealer can get them also. I hear they are not very accurate though. Same idea as lawnmower gas caps with the float.

Default New ATP Gas cap/Gauge

I boght the Polaris gas cap w/ gauge for my 01 SP500HO but it measures only the top 2 gallons. When the tank is full the gauge shows full, but it shows empty after you burn 2 gallons of the 5 gallon tank. It's the bottom few gallons that are important, so this cap w/ gauge is useless. The tank is shallow at the back, under the gas cap where the gauge is, then the tank is deep on the front, where the gauge is not. What's the sense in knowing your tank is full, but not knowing when it is near empty?
