Like ROB4092, Ther seem to be quite a few people having the popping problem with their Preds. Does anyone know a definite cure for this problem?

 

Mine "pops" a little when hitting the rev limiter (and I like being up that high in the rev's :-) ). Mine also sputters a little down low, but my jetting is a little off so I think it'll be an easy fix. As for a popping around 6-7000, I've never experienced that. I know about 10 people around my area with Predators and none of them have said anything about their machines not running right. I know this is not an answer to the problem, but I do my own tuning and setup so...I create my own problems! haha :-) I love the machine though!

Mine popped and I called Daryl Rath he actually walked me through the whole process. He stated it popped because the bike was lean but he also needed to know everything I had done to my bike such as air box mods, air cleaner, what jets I was running both the main and the pilot jet and what needle setttings. He asked me about riding conditions elevation and even what fuel I was running. At that time I had not even purchased anything from him yet. Since then i sure have. He listened to all my questions gave me the RIGHT solution not just a quick fix and my popping is gone. Call him at 320-234-7223. He is in Minnesota.

 

Besides being an extremely fast racer, Daryl is a no bull very professional person to deal with.
