how to get high R's on the scrammy

Polarisman 72
Please keep posting if you do get the 40mm carb and how it works out for you. I also have a Scrambler 4x4 with a clutch kit, header, and pipe, and I would really like to know if it's worth it. I think unless you start to bore and port the engine, (which I'm not convinced is worth it, I'll just buy a different quad instead!) that's about as far as you can go with the Scrambler. Although I'm not sorry I bought my Scrambler, it's frustrating that with the exception of 1 or 2 companies there is no aftermarket support. I think we Scrambler 4x4 owners will just have to be content with our smug knowledge that we have 4x4 on our sport(y?) quad. So there... phppht!

polarisman72,i think you should for the hot seat 42mm carb,it is proven to work best on the 4 stroke 500,try to get clean clutchs and good running belt to make sure thr r's are all the way to full shiftout.
