Default 400 PISTON

I think Mac Racing was the first to come up with the stroker.I've talked to a couple guy's that said it runs very well.I believe the cost of doing a stroker is around $1500.Also how is the reliability.Oh well it's only money.

I'm not at all familiar with the MAC deal, but if it is indeed like the new HPD where you also need a cylinder, probably about a wash on the difference in cost. It was fun watching the testing and finishing touches that the power-valved unit went through last year. That was some serious tweaking. Gonna have to make some local moto's again this year....watch the Predator vs HPD battle.

I think the power difference is between the porting and pipe. Hpd says the hp between the big bore and standard bore are almost the same, just the big bore has more torque. We shall see, it's the cheapest way for me to go right now 400.00 so that's the way I'm going. I'll let you now how it goes.

Ced is correct it is a .140 over.

I have heard Bubba say that he wished he didn't go with a big bore
but it does make a lot of torque.
He also said that in a 300ft race he didn't feel it ran any faster.

Now I have always heard "Bigger is better" but I do know that always isn't the
truth.

Now I put a big bore on my 250r and well wow!!! Gives me goose bumps just
sitting there idleing. Ok Ok Bubba says I am crazy, but it did make a big
difference on how it performs. I will have a new time slip this coming up
sat to see how much time I have dropped.

Anyway
I know you guys don't want to hear about my r,
But I just don't care to much about the honda forum.
Way too much arrogance.

See ya

Is that in sand or hard packed 300ft race. I mean I honestly don't know, just trying to get more information. Not that it really matters because I"ve already ordered the piston, but I still like to get all the information, especially from people like Bubba that know alot.
