Noise while going down hills.
#1
I have a 00 335. Just had a new tranny put in doing good except when going down bumpy hills I notice a noise coming from what sounds like rear cv/joints or u/joints. I only hear it wile going down hills with a lot of bumps in it. Has anyone noticed this noise with theirs I have 10 hrs on the bike now and didnt notice this noise the first time I rode prob. because i was listning to the noise in the tranny. Is this normal or should I take it back in to the dealer. I have been told the brakes will make a noise under normal use, could this be the culprit. Thanks for any info.

It's either the rear shocks fully extending(out of travel) or the brakes starting to lock up.
You only hear it when going downhill because the weight transfers forward.
When the brakes start to lock up, Wheels lock, unlock etc., the load on the transmission mounted rotor makes some noise. It's hard to describe.
Also when going down rocky/bumpy hills, the shocks will fully extend and make noise when the shocks run out of travel.
Being that your transmission was just put in, check all mounting bolts just to be sure.
