today while i was racing my seat kept coming off....first time it was just bouncing then finally fell off after a double.......in my second moto it was starting to come off so i quickly took it and threw it off the track... what could be causing it to come off...i know i am putting it on right

 

maybe its whats under the seat check that

 

If I were u and the problem kept occuring then I woudl ty strap it on before a race and take it off when u need to but Im sure that something is wrong under the seat thats causing this to happen.

You can see the end of the latch from underneith when its on your quad. Put something through the hole in the tip of the latch to keep it on. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Hard Rock has a kit out to cure this problem, I saw it on ebay jusy today for 49 bucks.

 

When you but hits the seat hard enough it can flex and cause the leave to be depresed and pop it off. I used a couple wraps of lock wire on mine. Just need to get under the seat for the ocasional carb tuning and filter maintenance. I am cheap. I can wrap a little lock wire quite a few times for 49 bucks.
