TB400, you have been talking about Toomey pipes and V-Force reeds a lot???? First the Trailblazer 250 doesn't even have reeds, did you know that?? And Toomey doesn't make a pipe for it, Hmm that's weird.
First I would get a Wiseco piston before you do any mods. While you are rebuilding it, have your Cylinder ported and mill the head to get more compression. Try to find a 34mm carb on Ebay for cheap and if you cant I would stick with the stock carb till a cheap one comes around. I would switch to a HPD pipe. HPD seems to be the most popular Polaris performance place along with RCR.
I would have HPD, Bubba, or RCR port your cylinder. I did myn and a guy who drag races 2 strokes helped me, It gave me as much as the pipe did and I'm very satisfied with my results.
For milling the head, again HPD. Or better yet if you have a local machine shop take it there and tell them to take 0.025 off the gasket surface. My dad milled myn, he works at a place where they make aerospace parts so he has access to every kind of CNC machine.
