Default A question about the foot break

Hi guys. Mr New here again!

Do you guys use your foot break? I was told not to use this at all and always use the hand break which slows all four wheels. But coming from a dirtbike background I am so used to the foot break and would like to use it.

I am just wondering why I was told not to use it? Is the more like a emergency break or something? Or just a plain break pedal for the rear wheels.

Thanks in advance!

Default A question about the foot break

Your hand break is like a 70 front 30 rear ratio for break pressure or something like that, and your foot brake is 100 rear. I use my foot brake on my 01 scrambler all the time and never noticed any problems, it makes it easier to rip around on the trails when using foot brake. They told me the same thing when i bought my wheeler, only use foot brake in emergencies, but o well
