Default FRS headsets

does anyone have a recomendation on an in helmet speaker/mic for my frs radios? I have 2 cobras and 2 adiovoxes. I tried the in ear type but I am not sure they will work well and I am having a hard time justifying 500.00 for a set from HJC.
Any and all coments would be helpful

Chris, I'm not sure who suggested it to me, but the said make sure to get the "push to talk" units. I guess the surrounding engine noise has a tendency to keep the voice ativated units activated. They sure have come down in price lately, lots of great choices.

I use one of these Moto Comm headsets with my motorola, but they sell them at Denniskirk.com for other brands. I and several of my riding friends own them and they work excellently.

bought a MOTOCOM from my local shop here today, should have asked them first they had them in there warehouse!! 59.99. Install went great and the fit is nice, we will see how it goes.
Hey pest44, have you noticed any volume problems? It seems like it is a little weak but I havn't had a chance to try it with the bike going yet. I wonder if I need to try and get the speakers a little closer to my ears?

thanks to all for the info!!!

I haven't had any volume issues with mine. The key is to make sure that you get the in-helmet speakers lined up properly with you're ears. I know that when I installed my chatterbox for my streebike and when I was installing the moto com setup, I did have to move the speakers a couple of times to get optimal sound out of it. Once I did that, I can hear it perfectly even while riding down the trail. Granted, the volume must be turned up a little more than needed when it is not running, but mine has worked fine thus far.
