An aftermarket exhaust will rid you of alot of weight, oil injection block -off is good for about 11lbs., W/B battery eliminator sheds a few pounds. Other things would be aluminum wheels, and just replacing anything that is metal with aluminum that doesn't have high stress. And as Modquad would say, Titanium!!

what is w/b battery eliminator ? never heard of it. I already have a 2002 400 4x4 with hsp speed kit + outerware, billet premium head pro taper bars, trailtech, aluminum center skid plate and rear swing arm skid. how many #'s will changing to ac nerfs lose me ?

The White Brother's Battery Eliminator, gets rid of the battery and cables after lightening the flywheel getting rid of the starter also. It still allows the lights and 4wd to work. OOps forgot to mention starter block off and flywheel lightening earlier, but afterwards, go with the W/B kit.

so then you are pull starting? and it has to be running to use lights? how about hte electric fan only when running? I could just *** u me without battery none of those wil work without the engine running but you know what that does
