Trail Mod Problem
#11
Yeah the weights don't move but two of the bolts will slide back and forth but the third one won't budge. I didn't know if that had any importance at all just thought I would ask. My dealer thinks it has to do with backshift on my problem posted above. I don't have the complete aggresive clutch kit just the primary spring and he thinks that since I did all the mods to it I should definately do the whole clutch kit. I think that I probably will. Thanks Nc.

No problem man, I would probably agree, I know it definately sounds clutch related and if your drive clutch doesn't jive with the driven clutch, it will cause problems. You can change single clutch pieces to an extent, but at a point, you have to make adjustments to the driven also for the whole thing to work together correctly. If you are really serious about your clutching and want to know all about it and what to change for what effect, invest in the Olav Aaen Clutch Tuning Guide. I have one and many people I know have one, it has a wealth of info. and is priceless for do it yourselfers. You can get it at Aaen's website. Let me know when you get it all figured out. Also, about the screw, those clutches are cast before being machined, so there may be slight differences from one side to the other, that is why they are balanced because they are not perfect. The bolt also may have been over tightened causing it not to turn, but nothing to worry about.
