There is a 1991 trail boss 250 for sale for 2000 o/b. Is that a lot? And how does it compare with the beartracker 250, performance (trails, mud, just paying around) and size? thanks

 

2000 sounds like an awful lot for a 91.

 

Way to much for a 91. You cand find 98-2000 for that much. It will smoke a bear tracker. The 250 back then was a little more peppy then the new ones. But for a 91 I would not pay a penny more than 1500 in great shape.

 

I sold my 96 for $2000.It was like new.Keep lookin or talk him downnnnnnn.

 

That's WAY TO MUCH. Sold my '93 for $1500 and was surprised I got that. Had really low hours and older used quads are very hard to find around here. How is the market for used quads where you are? If there are lots around, that thing isn't worth more than a grand. If they are hard to find, maybe $1200-$1300 IF it's in really nice shape. One more note; last year dealers around here were selling leftover '01 TB250s for $2700-$2900.

 

there's not many used quads for sale around here either, only once in aa while and they are too much,, like a kodiak for 5900. But ill see if he will bring the price way down.

 

I think it too much. I picked up a almost new 01 250 xplorer 4x4 last week from a dealer for 2500 out the door. The dealer said he thinks it has 50 miles on it. 10 the old guy put on riding and 40 in the back of his truck bring it back for a oil change once a year. GOOD LUCK! in what ever you get. RACERJIM
