Default Trailblazer price.

Hi,
I am in the process of purchasing a used 2001 polaris trailblazer, The guy bought it for his wife and she wont ride it, it has been in storage for nearly 2 years, the quad looks flawless....no scratches or anything, is $2,500 a steep price? my dealer has them new for 3,200, Is the guys price to high? I really want the quad, But i have heard alot about reliability issues.....Should i buy the quad?

I am a little worried because i have never owned a polaris, and there are belts..wich i fear may become a problem.I dont have much money to spend, $2,700 is all i have to spend, and i plan on buying front and rear racks, a pipe and some tires.

i have had no problems with the belt or anything else with mine. it gets ridden pretty hard thru all types of terrain (ok no snow, but it is texas). only thing i didn't like was the front bumper. otherwise no complaints at all.

Okay well i have one more question, I have heard of belts slipping in water, is a 2 foot deep water crossing enough to get the belt slipping? What is so bad about the front bumper? The one i am getting has a yellow skidplate on the bumper, i think it looks kinda cool.

Ive gone through it all. Snow, deep water, mud, you name it. Theres a picture in my pic section that shows me going through some deep water. You cant see it in the picture but theres deep wholes that come close to the seat. I have never had my belt slip or any other problems. The trailblazer does really good for a 2x4. Every single yamaha 2x4 had to be towed through that river. I made it through just fine.
So go for it
