Default Scrambler 500 Rear Suspension

I have looked through the forums trying to find a good rear shock for my 00 Scrambler 500, but most topics are on the front. So I was wondering if anyone knew of a good rear shock. Mine was blown, I had it rebuilt, and now the rebound is giong away again, so I have decided to go w/a new shock, but works is too expensive. So if anyone knows of a good adjustable and resivored rear shock, please help.

I think that Works is the only other company that makes one for the scram besides Fox. Hot seat sell new Fox rear shocks. Or you can have it rebuilt and revalved by PEP and have Hot Seat springs put on it.

I could do that, but who is PEP? Do they have a website i can go to or a phone number? Because I would really like my shock to come up faster than it is. When I push down, it lags when it comes up, so I am guessing that is is blown again. Is that what it sounds to you or is this normal? Thank you.

PEP is the company that Modquad recommended for Fox shock rebuilding and revalving. Hopefully he can get you a number. I haven't had mine rebuilt yet. BTW. Mine has the same lag. However my shock is fine. From what I understand, a lot of scramblers are the same way. I think that that is just the way they are valved. I am sure that a different spring and revalving will make it come up faster.
