help on scrambler strutt

Default help on scrambler strutt

I ripped my cy boot on my 01 scrambler 500 4x4 and i was removing the strut and i can't remove the shaft, it is such a position i can't get to the pin. Any adivise would be greatly appreciated

Default help on scrambler strutt

You don't have to remove the strut to take out the cv joint. You just remove the hub and bearings, disconnect the lower balljoint from the a-arm, that way you can twist the strut housing. Then you can disconnect the cv joint and pull it out.
