Does anyone have any insight on which steering stabilizer is better, the HPD or Aaen. Both are 7 position adjustable. However, the Aaen is $195 compared to the HPD one which is $140. Anybody have either one? Does it really make a noticeable difference? Does it make steering at slower speeds more difficult?

Most of them are comparable in performance and quality. I've run the HPD unit for a few years, works great. Take your time with the installation, it's fairly easy, and works. Definite difference.

Does it make it more difficult to steer at slower speeds, such as on real tight ORV trails?

No, It won't increase steering effort at slow speeds, it is designed to be easy to turn at slow speeds and as your speed increases, it stiffens up to keep the steering from wandering.

They are adjustable, so you can make it as stiff, as you want....or don't want.

I'm ordering one tomorrow; where do you guys set your positioning at for normal trail riding and then tough cross country?

Thanks in advance,

John

You're welcome John, just start at a the lower settings and work your way up to where you're comfortable.
