About ready to buy one for the wife and kid. Does anyone have anything bad or good to say about these machines?

nothing bad about my 2000. no mechanical problems. the only bad thing on it is my judgment[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

 

for the price that it will cost for that u should buy a 250ex or a 300ex.atleast u will know that u will have a quad that wont be in the shop 24/7

 

depends on how expirenced they are. trail boss is a nice laid back machien. very nice for beginers because you can just drop it and go. he is right, you will get more bang for your buck with a z250 or 250ex......if your wife and kids know how to shift it. as for being in the shop, a girl i ride with has one and she has had NO problems what so ever with it.

 

I paid $3800 Tx and Reg included out the door. I love it. I ride it hard and have made some mods for more power and speed. I have had NO problems in the 3 months of HARD riding I have owned it - they sell many. I looked at them all REAL HARD and picked the Boss. You will love it. Go test drive the others too.

 

Great machine. It is a little cold natured but warms up quickly. I have a 2002 model and have friends that have the 2003 model. We have had no problems with them, just gas and go.
