Default Scrambler chain and sprockets?

Ok, the only place that I could find that has a 36T rear was Hot Seat. They even had it in the Sunstar. So I ordered a 36t and 13T. And they are the same price as the what the dealer wants, plus they go some kinda sale going on too. Now I just the chain. If anyone could tell me how many links I need I would appreciate it. I also need to get a masterlink too, right?

The master link comes with the new chain, I will look in my repair manual when I get the chance to see if I can find how many links you need, should be around the mid 80's. You also need the 520 size.

Thats is one thing that my repair manual left out, the number of links. All it says is 520 o-ring chain. How nice of them to leave out the most important part:confused. But as long as the chain comes with a master link. Cuz I know when I bought the new chain with for my harley it didnt come with a masterlink. But the one that we bought for my dad's harley did come with a master link. I was just unsure whether or not DID included it, cuz it didn't say online.

I believe if it is the concentric drive, it is 76 pins on the chain length. DID x-ring chains that I have bought came with the master link. If you are unsure about the exact chain length, order one a little longer, then cut it down to the right length. Go to partsland.com and look up your model. Go to swingarm or rear drive and it should tell you. Good luck.

Yes, I meant mid 70's not 80's. I was thinking it was 76 or 78. Yep, after looking, my manual doesn't have a length either, leave it to Polaris..LOL.

Hot Seat is sending me Sunstar sprockets (I wonder why I could only find the Sunstar 36t rear sprocket at Hot Seat. Nobody else seems to carry it?) And Rocky Mt is sending me the DID X-ring chain. They only had it in stock in the 120 length. The rest are back ordered until August. It was still cheaper than Dennis Kirk! Oh well, I will just have to cut it to lenght. I also picked up the Unek Chain Scrubber. Im gonna really take care of this one!!!
